Mike joined Muller Pipe Organ Company in August 2017. A native of Cleveland, he studied Glass Art at the Cleveland Institute of Art and spent 10 years working full-time in the glassblowing industry. At Muller, Mike works primarily in the woodshop, where his artistic eye and craftsmanship translate seamlessly into woodworking, and wood finishing. He enjoys the variety and challenge of organbuilding where one must be part designer, woodworker, and mechanic all at once. Mike is especially fascinated by the mechanical complexity of pipe organs and the creativity involved in building each custom instrument. His background in fine arts adds a unique perspective to the shop. Outside of work, Mike enjoys gardening and cooking with his wife and their two young daughters, making the most of family time at home.
