Stan is now happily retired after nearly 38 years with Muller Pipe Organ Company, though he continues to provide assistance when needed. A native of Flint, Michigan, Stan holds degrees in organ and church music from the University of Michigan–Flint and Northwestern University, along with a BS in Computer Science. He joined Muller in 1988 after meeting Jane Muller at the Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra, where they both played double bass. Initially hired part-time while still working in church music, he later became a full-time team member. At Muller, Stan specialized in electrical work and console assembly, and also contributed to leatherworking and tuning. He especially enjoyed building new instruments. In retirement, he enjoys cooking and long weekend bike rides.
